After a long wait, the release date for the highly anticipated The Last of Us Part II has been revealed. Naughty Dog released a trailer at PlayStations State of Play livestream on Tuesday, September 24th 2019.
So now we have a specified date: February, 21, 2020.
Oh and Joel is older, and despite the speculation of his foreboding death, he looks pretty not dead. It’s all vague speculation at this point as to what exactly propels the story of The Last of Us Part II outside of revenge/and or romance. I’d like to believe Joel remains alive during the events of The Last of Us Part II, but the focus of Part II is on Ellie. I simply hope that doesn’t make Joel disposable. Regardless of what I think happens, we will all find out in February. If you can’t contain the excitement, the other trailers are contained here.
