June’s Games With Gold Revealed

Another month and another new batch of games to keep forever courtesy of Xbox Games With Gold. Whether you’re new to the service or a returning player, there are enough free titles to download and keep forever. The month of June is headlined by Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse and Coffee Talk on Xbox One. Meanwhile, over on Xbox 360, keep an eye out for Destroy All Humans! (the original, not the remaster), and SINE MORA.

Each of June’s game’s availability will be staggered across the month. Here is this month’s schedule:

Xbox One:

  • Shantae and the Pirate’s Curse ($19.99/£15.99 ERP) – Xbox One (1st June to 30th June)
  • Coffee Talk ($13.99/£11.74 ERP) – Xbox One (16th June to 15th July)

Xbox 360:

SINE MORA is a horizontal shoot’em up that provides a unique take on challenge where time is the ultimate factor. Mixing classic shooter sensibilities with contemporary presentation, SINE MORA is a gorgeous shmup.

Offering a Story Mode that weaves an over-the-top tale and an Arcade Mode that provides deep, satisfying gameplay to challenge fans of the genre. With many ways to manipulate time, SINE MORA features over 60 weapon combinations to complete each beautifully-crafted stage that form fits the player’s skills with scaling difficulty.

Quite a few retro games in this month’s selection. It’s interesting that Destroy All Humans! is free on Games With Gold this month considering the remaster is coming in July.
