Japan Is Getting A lovely Famicom Mini Consoles Bundle

Not only does Japan get the more attractive versions of the Nintendo Entertainment System and Super Nintendo Entertainment System — it’s true! sorry! — but Japanese customers are also getting a chance to buy the miniature versions of the consoles in one go. A similarly stylish bundle, composed of the Famicom and Super Famicom Classic Editions, is coming to Japanese stores in September.

Amazon is taking pre-orders for the set, which is on sale for 14,940 yen (around £103). A special Amazon limited deal, which includes the original instruction books for Super Mario Bros. and F-Zero, is also available for 15,077 yen (or about £104). (I don’t under the point in the prices either).

The Mini-Snes comes with 21 games, including Star Fox 2, while the mini-NES will come with 30 titles.

While this deal is only currently available in Japan, this could be good news for the rest of us. If the deal does well, if it does well it’s possible that Nintendo could offer a Western bundle in the future. Fingers crossed, for the time being amongst all gaming fans. For now, we’ll just have to sit back and admire and stare at the Amazon Japan order page and watch pictures and videoa of the set in action as they spread out across social media.

With the ever increasing demand for the supply of mini classic editions of previous consoles this will sure be on the minds of gamers worldwide. The Nintendo Mini series has already proved to be a huge hit for Nintendo fans and  gamers alike.

The bundle is available for Japan on Sept. 15. We’ll keep our ears peeled, fingers croosed and our hopes of a similar bundle coming to the West.
