Granted, there is little to go on now bar a long-since deleted tweet, but it seems as though Sonic is having a multimedia renaissance.
The official NX account, which covers all of the nerdier side of Netflix, posted the following tweet last month;
Again, details are fuzzy right now as the tweet was shortly thereafter deleted – clearly, the announcement was made prematurely. However, the Sonic Netflix series is a joint collaboration between SEGA, Netflix, WildBrain, and Man of Action Entertainment. Oh, and it’s due out in 2022.
However, as it’s been deleted, all we have to go off of is the above tweet. So, I guess it’s safe to say, we’ll have more news on this story when it becomes available. Until then, the Sonic the Hedgehog Movie is currently on NowTV in the UK.
