Microsoft showed off some of the third-party games, coming for the Xbox Series X, on the Inside Xbox live stream, earlier this week. Everything from Madden NFL 21 to Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to the new Dirt 5 was showcased.
However, the live stream left players feeling disappointed and misled. And perhaps Microsoft’s liberal use of the word “gameplay” had something to do with this. Well, Microsoft marketing boss Aaron Greenberg took to Twitter to address the issues.
You can’t accuse Greenberg of mincing word, at least. And isn’t it quite refreshing to see this kind of self-criticism? What do you think, would the Inside Xbox stream been a bigger success if they had changed the wording, beforehand?
