Infinity Ward Ban More Than 70,000 Warzone Players

Due to cheating Infinity Ward have been forced to ban more than 70,000 Call of Duty: Warzone players.

These bans are for players who have cheated in the game and as someone who is enjoying the game currently, I’m pretty happy about that.

This number is stark increase from the initially reported 50,000 offenders.

The developer have stated that they are dedicated to enhancing the games security via updates to stop these types of players exploiting the game.

Infinity Ward have also pledged to improve the in-game reporting tools to help report these selfish players

The recent patch notes show the games updated elements including the removal of trios again! An odd move I’ve got to admit.

Where The Hell Has Trios Gone?

Adding the Scopes and Scatter Guns game mode for trios, but removing the regular mode for trios, does seem strange as Infinity Ward have only recently re-added the trios to the roster.

With the developer is also pledging to improve the UI to provide a more streamline gameplay experience, but didn’t impart for specific details.

“We are watching. We have zero tolerance for cheaters,”

The full Warzone security and enforcement policy document lists everything you need to know about the do’s and don’ts.

The latest numbers coming out of Activision claim players numbers have topped 50 million players since launch.

Comparing Warzone to other battle royale’s in the genre, Respawn have said that they themselves have banned over 350,000.
