As we reported just last week, Horizon Forbidden West is edging ever closer for release. As of today, gamers itching to get their hands on the upcoming continuation of Aloy’s saga can get a glimpse of what’s to come.
According to the PlayStation Blog, pre-orders for the game are now open across the globe. What’s more, the good guys at Sony HQ have revealed what Brusie Bonuses are available depending on the edition you land on.
To recap, Horizon Forbidden West kicks off 6 months after the tumultuous events of Horizon Zero Dawn. Aloy, now a fully fledged machine hunter has headed west in search of answers to a mysterious blight that has affected life at home. Little is known about these curious new lands; there are strange new tribes to befriend (or behead), wondrous new biomes to explore and of course, a raft of new machines to encounter, and overcome.
But you knew all that didn’t you? What you don’t know are all the wonderful extras Sony have graciously tacked on to your potential pre-order. Read on.
The first point of note that any pre-order of any version of the game gets a free skin and weapon. The Nora Legacy Outfit and Spear will be automatically available to download from the PlayStation Store, ready and waiting to try out in game. Yawn.
Horizon Zero Dawn: Digital Deluxe Edition – £69.99
But now we get the real meat and potatoes. The cross-gen Digital Deluxe Edition is exclusively available on PlayStation Store, and comes with a raft of additional content. Other than the game itself, you’ll get;

The next tier up is the Special Edition. This comes in a sumptuous SteelBook complete with a physical copy of the game inside for a PlayStation of your choice (well PS$ or PS5 at least). You’ll also receive a voucher for the digital soundtrack as well as a mini-art book. The special edition costs £69.99 and is available here in limited quantities.
Horizon Forbidden West: Collector’s Edition – £169.99
Next of course, we have the Collector’s Edition which is absolutely stuffed with extras. Sony describe this as the “real must have” which of course means it’s extremely expensive but “not so expensive that you wouldn’t even consider it”. Aside for the digital copy of the game, you will also receive;
