Hollow Knight quickly became a fan favourite with its unique aesthetic, elusive lore and story and rewarding metroidvania-esque gameplay. Hollow Knight developer Team Cherry can also be credited with finally making bugs cute, a feat not accomplished since the dawn of man. Ever since the game’s release fans have been clamouring for a sequel. And in February 2019 we got what we asked for; Hollow Knight: Silksong was announced.
This last summer Microsoft gave us another look at Silksong after more than a year of silence from the developers. In the presentation, Microsoft made it clear that Hollow Knight: Silksong was coming to PC, Xbox and Switch. However, Sony and Playstation were left out.
But Platstation fans can finally breathe easy again seeing as Sony finally confirms Hollow Knight: Silksong for PS4 as well as PS5. We don’t have a confirmed release date yet although we know it’s coming sometime next year.
