HBO’s new show based on Naughty Dog’s The Last Of Us is going through some growing pain, at the moment. HBO recently had to find themselves a new director for the series.
The plan was to place Chernobyl-director Johan Renck at the helm, for the first episode. However, due to Covid-19 that is no longer possible. Instead, Hollywood Reporter writes that Kantemir Balagov, most known for directing Beanpole and Closeness, will be replacing Renck for the pilot episode of The Last Of Us.
