Halo Infinite Box Art Unveiled Ahead of Xbox Showcase

Halo Infinite is coming later this year. That means we can expect to see the box art. The studio behind the more recent titles, 343 Industries has let fans get a peak early. This comes the day before Xbox’s E3 replacement live-stream.

While at a glace, the new art seems to be a clear call back to the original Halo: Combat Evolved box art. This speaks to comments made about the game being a “soft reboot” of the franchise. Keen-eyed viewers have spotted some new details.

Combat Re-Evolved

One fans has enhanced the reflection of the Master Chief’s face plate. A Brute can be seen in the reflection. Could this be the new big bad guy or just a rank and file enemy? One theory is that it is the still breathing antagonist from Halo Wars 2, Atriox. Time will tell.

Another detail can be found on Chief’s left forearm. It is a device believed to be a grappling hook. Grappling hooks have been a rumored feature coming in the next Halo game. Many recent games have used them in the last couple years.

Halo Infinite is expected to be released later this year. The first game play and view of the campaign in video format is coming today during their Xbox Game Showcase. Fans can download wallpapers here.
