God of War Developer is also Working on Unannounced Title

With God of War Ragnarok still some years away, Sony’s Santa Monica Studio’s job listing has fuelled speculation on what other project they could be working on.

You can read the job advert in the link below, but it also references that the game will be “genre-defining”. A pretty big statement.

Fimbulwinter Some Years Off

We can assume Ragnarok is going to be a few years off yet, with God of War only releasing in 2018, it begs the question of whether this is a more immediate title. Though with an Art Director yet to be appointed it would make sense that this genre defining game is maybe further away from release than Ragnarok is.

Sony Santa Monica have also helped several smaller studios with PlayStation exclusives which opens up the debate on whether it could be a game in an existing franchise, with them having worked on titles such as Journey, The Unfinished Swan, Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture and Fat Princess Adventures… okay, maybe not that one.

Until then I guess we’ll have to settle for putting on a fake moustache and applying for the job under an alias, to get the scoop on what is going on over at Sony Santa Monica.

But it would be rude to talk about Ragnarok and not link the teaser, so enjoy and drop us a comment on your wildest theories.
