Giancarlo Esposito is rumoured to fill the role of the villain in Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6. Giancarlo Esposito is known for roles his roles as the ruthless drug lord Gus Fring in AMC’s Breaking Bad. He also portrayed the mysterious Moff Gideon in Disney’s The Mandalorian.
Esposito confirmed In an interview, with Collider Connected, that he had been working on a huge video game that apparently necessitated a whole new style of acting.
“This video game I did – which is going to be huge – [but I] can’t really mention it,” Esposito said.
However, Far Cry 6 has not yet been announced and but GameReactor stepped forward claiming that it was indeed Far Cry 6 Esposito was talking about. Though this article from GameReactor has since then been removed, as well as its cached copy. VGC did, however, see the report and wrote a piece of their own.
If the rumours are true, that would mean that Esposito would follow the same path as Better Call Saul’s Michael Mando who is famous for portraying Vaas in Far Cry 3. We do also know that Ubisoft has one more AAA game to announce by the end of the fiscal year, which is in March 2021.
