Ghost Recon Frontline really hasn’t had an easy life. A prime example of Murphy’s law where everything has just gone wrong. Following this, Ubisoft announced that Ghost Recon Frontline is officially dead.
Ubisoft’s idea was to make their grittiest military series Ghost Recon into a Battle royal style game rivaling Fortnite or Call of Duty: Warzone. However, due to immense backlash from fans of Tom Clancy’s futuristic warfare simulator the french studio has decided to stop any further production of Ghost Recon Frontline. Here’s hoping that Ubisoft focuses on something more traditional for the next installment in the Ghost Recon franchise.
