Below are listed the games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra in July 2022. Similar to Sony’s prior Playstation Now service, not every game launched on the service will be forever available to download or stream. New titles come, old titles go, just like the myriad subscription services we all unwittingly pay for.
The same applies to PlayStation Plus Extra, the middle tier in Sony’s revamped PS Plus that offers subscribers a library of games on demand. Unlike the top “Premium” tier, this doesn’t include the classics catalogue from older PlayStation generations, nor does it entitle you to PS3 game streaming or game trials.
Games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra | July 2022
Taken from the PlayStation Store, there are two games that are going to be removed from the service this month. They are Shadow Warrior 3 (July 5th) and Syberia (July 19th).
Shadow Warrior 3 was first made available on PlayStation Now at launch on March 1st this year. Now just a few short months later, this bombastic shooter sequel is leaving the service. Those yet to complete their adventure should be mindful that time is running out.
Adventure game classic, Syberia, will also vanish from the PS Plus catalogue. As a PS3, streaming-only title it won’t be as missed, though fans of the genre should at least give it a look.
