“Gamer Grandma” Shirley Curry is Now Available in Skyrim (via Mods)

But don’t expect her to carry your burdens!

Last year, we reported about Shirley Curry being modded into The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

And now, the modding community has finalised the mod and added the iconic YouTuber into her beloved game.

The appropriately named “Shirley – A Skyrim Follower Mod” is now available via Nexus Mods and Bethesda.net mods (PC and Xbox).

As the Nexus Mods desciption notes;

“Shirley Curry, the beloved “Skyrim Grandma”, finally comes to the game as a follower you can recruit! She’ll join you on your adventures, but don’t expect her to simply carry your burdens! She’s got more personality than all the vanilla followers combined. We’re sure she’ll be a great companion and a friend. And a grandma!”

For anyone unfamiliar, Shirley Curry is famous amongst the community for using Skyrim as a platform for her YouTube channel. During her career as a content creator, she’s amassed nearly one million subscribers – each of whom Curry affectionately refers to as her “grandkids”. She makes wholesome let’s plays and does story times in Skyrim. You know, the best things about having a grandma! Gosh, I miss my nan.

The Shirley follower is live now via the above sites. The good news is, the mods are completely free. The better news is, this will immortalise our dear Shirley forever. There’s another playthrough of Skyrim booked, then.
