Developers Worm Club (Grace Bruxner and Thomas Bowker) has released Frog Detective 2: The Case of the Invisible Wizard on Steam. The new game is also available on Itch.io in collaboration with Superhot Presents. Superhot is a new funding platform for indie developers unveiled earlier this year.
The Case of the Invisible Wizard is the second instalment in the Frog Detective series. It follows the acclaimed The Haunted Island last year. PC Gamer called The Haunted Island one of their “favourite underrated PC games from 2018“.
Grace Bruxner, of Worm Club, said;
“We’re extremely excited and entirely exhausted! I spent a lot of the development really nervous that the game wouldn’t live up to the first one, but every time I play it I realise that my lizard brain has been lying to me and it’s actually probably better than The Haunted Island.
It’s scary to make a sequel to a game that’s special to a lot of people, but Tom and I put a lot of love into it, which I hope shines through when folks finally get to play”.Press Release
