Forza Horizon 4 Getting Battle-Royale Mode Today

Microsoft Studios’ Forza Horizon 4 is about to become the latest game to receive a battle royale mode. The open-world racing game, which focuses on fast cars and mad stunts, will add “The Eliminator” mode later today (12th December).

The Eliminator mode – which is a free update, by the way – will see 72 players racing against one another. The competitors will take part in head-to-head races as they attempt to win better cars.

As players start off in the new mode, they will be behind the wheel of a 1965 Mini Cooper. By collecting new Car Drops or by coming first in races, they can improve their chances of winning races.

And, for anyone who loses their race, well, I’m afraid you’re out of the competition. However, the winner can either choose a new upgrade or obtain the loser’s car! Competing can become pretty cutthroat pretty quickly.

And, to add a bit of pressure to players, the boundaries of the arena start closing in. As the boundaries get to their final position, any remaining competitors who have made it through the eliminations must race to the finishing line.

Winner Takes All!

Whoever makes it there first, will be crowned the Eliminator!

The Eliminator event will go live from 6 pm GMT on 12th December. Alongside this, however, there will also be a special mini-campaign with exclusive rewards.
