Upcoming Lord of the Rings: Gollum has had it’s first screenshots revealed.
Gollum is still around a year away, but that doesn’t mean developers Daedalic Entertainment hasn’t been busy.
The screenshots were revealed as part of a Gamestar preview. Some of the game’s environments, as well as Gollum himself, are on display.
And, despite what Daedalic stated not too long ago, it seems our Gollum looks quite familiar. Fans of the Lord of the Rings/Hobbit franchise should see a somewhat-Andy Serkis quality to Gollum.
In other words, the game Gollum looks quite similar to Andy Serkis’ portrayal in the Peter Jackson films.
Of course, this being just a series of screenshots, we have no real context of narrative or gameplay to discuss with you all. The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is due out next year on PC and consoles. (Oooh, next-gen).
