Far Cry 6 Receives New Visitors In Form Of Old Villains

Ubisoft’s Far Cry series has had more than its fair share of memorable villains. There was Vaas Montenegro from Far Cry 3. A bone-chilling, psychotic pirate leader with a, let’s say, tenuous grasp of his own sanity. Then, there was Pagan Min in Far Cry 4. A dictator with an acute sense of fashion and style, as well as murder. More recently we had the cult leader Joseph Seed from Far Cry 5 who kept us on the edge of our seats with his cool demeanor and his attitude towards genocide. Also, he had access to nuclear weapons.

Ubisoft knows you can’t have a good story without a good antagonist. That is why they are launching Far Cry: Villains, an add-on to Far Cry 6.

First out is Vaas famously played by Michael Mando who announced the character’s return on Twitter. The Vass Insanity DLC comes out November 16, with a Pagan Min and Joseph Seed coming later next year. In Vaas: Insanity we play as the titular man himself in a roguelike mode in order to get to know the character better. The next DLCs will presumably follow the same model.
