Fallout 76 has long been criticised for – amongst a plethora of other issues – a lack of content.
Bethesda has addressed this since launch…slightly.
However, there’s still, evidently, plenty of juice left in the Nuka-Cola for Fallout 76.
Bethesda has recently revealed 76‘s 2022 roadmap, and it has plenty of content coming to the Wasteland soon.

The roadmap introduces four new, in-game seasons; one for each of the Earth’s changing seasons.
Each of 76‘s seasons will see a new Public Event, themed random encounters, and plenty of new loot.
In the Spring, Appalachia will be “besieged by otherworldly forces in Invaders From Beyond“. In other words, we’re getting aliens. These otherworldly visitors will appear in random encounters that will see you fend off the alien threat. There’s also the added ability to earn S.C.O.R.E. (76‘s ranking system points), and the release of Season 8: A Better Life Underground.
Meanwhile, the summertime will bring the Test Your Metal update. “Don your best armour, weapons, and Perk Cards, and step into battle!” The Test Your Metal event will see new arena fights against deadly automatons, and upgrades to the Fallout 1st scoreboard progression.
Then, during the Autumn/Fall, Vault Dwellers will get the chance to visit a post-apocalyptic Pittsburgh. That’s right, Expeditions: The Pitt is coming. You’ll be able to take on new missions, interact with new NPCs, battle new foes, and earn new rewards.
And, finally, in the Winter, the Nuka World on Tour update rolls into Appalachia. “The Fizziest Show on Earth” will see a travelling roadshow dedicated to everybody’s favourite radioactive soda-pop visit the area. With it comes yet another new season, new Public Events, and a region boss!
Fallout 76 is available now across PC (via Steam and, for now at least, the Bethesada.net launcher), Xbox, and PlayStation. The Invaders From Beyond update is available now, as of 1st March.
