Suppose you managed to turn off the wall to wall coverage of the Platinum Jubilee. In that case, you’d’ve noticed last night that Sony updated us on what’s heading to the PS4 & PS5 in the upcoming months, via their ‘State of Play’ show, and from what was shown, even the Queen would be considering what to play first (Because as we all know she’s a big-time gamer…Buckingham Palace has a massive gaming and VR room.)
But I digress…here’s everything that was announced.
Resident Evil 4
Return to one of the best Resident Evil Games, as you try and save the president’s daughter from the evil within. Originally released waaaay back in 2005, Resident Evil 4 is scheduled to release on 24th March 2023 (It’s also coming to PC and Xbox Series S/X too) (Remember then?). Also announced will be PSVR2 content for the game so you can scare yourself in first person as well.
Resident Evil Village
Head right back into the Village as you once again face off against Lady D and everything that comes with it, just remember to keep it in your pants…we’ve all seen the memes. Coming soon to the PSVR2

Horizon: Call of the Mountain & Horizon: Forbidden West
We were treated to two trailers for the super immersive and gorgeous looking Horizon series.
First off, Horizon: Call of the Mountain is a brand new game heading exclusively to the PSVR2, as you head into the mountains to face off against some pretty dangerous-looking machines.
For all you Horizon: Forbidden West fans, you’ve got yourself a brand new update which is available on PS4 & PS5 today! A New Game Plus mode, Ultra Hard difficulty, new weapons, the option to redistribute your skill points and a Transmog option so you can change your outfit while retaining all your skills…if that’s your kinda thing.
Spider-Man Remastered
As we all know, with great power, comes great responsibility, and PC players will be able to get the chance to play one of the best games of the previous consoles on August 12th 2022… I for one can’t wait for the mods.
Stray
If you love cats or are a certain ABG Podcast host, then this is the game for you. Coming to PS4 & PS5 on July 19th, help get this stray home to its family. (Oh by the way our very own James Wright will be streaming this Live on Launch day too!)
The Callisto Protocol

Rollerdrome
In the not so distant year 2030 it seems that Football is out and a brand new blood sport has gripped the world. In Rollerdrome you’ll shoot and skate to survive…Will you be crowned champion of the Rollerdome? Due for release on August 16th
Eternights
You’ve survived the apocalypse, you’re scavenging for supplies to survive…but can you get a date? Eternights is due for release early next year.
Street Fighter 6
The iconic fighting game is back! Coming to consoles in 2023 Street Fighter 6 will feature two brand new modes as well as the classic game experience from the previous entries. Also announced is a brand new real-time commentary mode that makes it feel like you’re competing in an actual tournament.
Tunic
Explore the charming world of Tunic as you uncover its ancient secrets, and face off against ferocious monsters. Tunic is coming to the PS4 & PS5 on September 27th
Season: A Letter To The Future
Coming to PS4 & PS5 this autumn, Season: A Letter to the Future allows you to explore the world around you taking in the sights and sounds. The art style looks amazing while the gameplay seems relaxed and intriguing. Definitely, one to watch.
Final Fantasy XVI
The moment some of you have been waiting for, Final Fantasy XVI is on its way. Giving us glimpses of the lead character Clive battling enemies using both Eikonic Strike abilities and his sword, FFXVI seems to be more action-packed than previous entry’s in the series. FF XVI is coming in Summer 2023.
