End of the Line for Xbox One X and S Digital Edition.

With the upcoming release of the Xbox Series X, Microsoft has made the tough call of announcing production on the Xbox One X and Xbox One S will cease.

Thinking that the Xbox One [X and S All-Digital models] will be super cheap when the Series X launches? Think again!

Microsoft has confirmed to IGN that both consoles are no longer going to be manufactured going forward. Instead, Microsoft has shifted focus to the upcoming Xbox Series X and online services.

“As we ramp into the future with Xbox Series X, we’re taking the natural step of stopping production on Xbox One X and Xbox One S All-Digital Edition”.

Time may be running out for the Xbox One S

There is a glimmer of hope, however, as they do state that the Xbox One S will still be manufactured. For how long though only time will tell.

You can read the full statement here.

The Xbox Series X is due for release at the end of the year. The Xbox One S is out now, currently priced at £249.99.
