The UK’s biggest video games event returns to the Birmingham NEC this September
Gamer Network, organisers of the UK’s leading video games events, is delighted to announce that tickets are now available to purchase for EGX 2018 which returns to the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham from the 20th-23rd September.

Powered by Virgin Media, EGX has been the first choice for publishers and developers seeking to market their pre-release games to the UK’s vast gaming community since the event’s inception in 2008.

EGX 2018 will feature more than 1,500 screens of interactive entertainment with blockbuster triple-A titles from the world’s biggest publishers sitting alongside a huge collection of innovative indie games in the Rezzed Zone.

More than 80,000 visitors are expected to attend this year’s event where they’ll have the opportunity to enjoy all aspects of video games culture including esports, cosplay, retro gaming and meet and greets with notable personalities from YouTube and Twitch.

Meanwhile the Developer Sessions and Rezzed Sessions will bring attendees the latest news on some of the world’s most exciting pre-release games and deep dive insights into the game development process.

The GamesIndustry.biz Career Fair will offer invaluable advice to those seeking to begin a career in games and the GamesIndustry.biz Trade Zone will be a vital destination for members of the UK trade looking to network.

EGX’s long and successful partnership with Virgin Media continues and its customers will have access to the best-value tickets, with a limited number of half-price early entry tickets available for each day. Tickets are available now via the EGX website – egx.net/egx/tickets.

David Lilley, EGX Event Director, said, “EGX has been firmly established as a must attend event for publishers, developers and hardware suppliers for many years now. It’s the only UK event on the global calendar and a vital destination for any company seeking to drive awareness and sales in this country. With more space, features and games than ever before we’re excited by the prospect of putting on the best EGX event yet”.
