DONTNOD Team Behind Life is Strange to Work on New IP

Fans of DONTNOD’s previous works (including, Life Is Strange and Tell Me Why will be interested to know what Michel Koch and Luc Baghadoust are up to.

Members of the team behind Life is Strange has opened up a new DONTNOD studio in Canada.

As the press release notes, this new studio will work on a brand-new, as-yet-unknown IP.

Leading the charge in Montréal will be Luc Baghadoust, executive producer and co-creator of Life is Strange. Michel Koch, also co-creator on Life is Strange, will be joining him. The pair will be joint with various “other members of the world-famous Life is Strange development team”.

The press release also notes that positions are looking to be filled for the new studio. The aim of which is to get them all filled before the end of 2020.

Koch said of the new studio;

“With the formation of a new team on another continent, we are writing a new page of DONTNOD’s history. It’s also a new beginning for new characters and original stories [that we hope] will touch and inspire many players around the world.

Each of our projects taught us more about our creative strength and weaknesses. But, at the end of the day, our community remains the best reflection of our craft. We want to keep progressing and offer our fans new interactive experiences more inclusive, impactful and filled with empathy”.
