Destiny 2 DLC’s Xbox Game Pass Release Date Confirmed

As part of the celebration of Destiny turning 6 years old on 9th September, Bungie confirmed the release date for the Destiny 2 DLC on Xbox Game Pass.

You can currently enjoy the base game for free and on 22nd September you will be able to play the Forsaken and Shadowkeep expansions.

If that wasn’t enough, on 10th November you will also be able to play the next expansion Beyond Light with Xbox Game Pass on console and PC!

This means that from 10th November you can enjoy the full Destiny 2 experience with Game Pass which is a great excuse to jump in, for new and returning players.

To further celebrate the 6th anniversary of the series Bungie have released some game statistics.

As you can see below in a tweet from the Destiny official Twitter, 167 million Guardians have been created in game since Destiny launched over 6 years ago.

In next-gen news, Destiny 2 will release on Xbox Series X, Series S and PlayStation 5, in 4K and at 60 fps, and due to the availability of the cross-save feature, you can import your Guardian between all available consoles to continue your progress.
