For most of us, “another day at the office” does not involve vacuuming up ghosts and battling other sinister spirits. But that’s exactly what it’s all about in Dead End Job. Coming to PC and Consoles this December, check out this upcoming twin-stick, couch co-op, procedurally generated game.

What would inspire someone to create such a zany concept? Well, that’s what this new video interview aims to answer. The team at Ant Workshop explains what the creation process was like for this wild and wacky game!

Don’t wait – watch the video now and see what’s up with this ghost-bustin’ adventure. Coming to PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on 13th December.

Meet Hector, a Simple Salary-Spectre

Developed by the former lead level designer on Red Dead Redemption. This insane mash-up of Ren & Stimpy meets Ghostbusters puts you in the ethereal boots of Hector Plasm. Hector – a simple salary-spectre – is tasked with ridding the wacky world of meddlesome spectral interlopers. Employed with the Number One Experts in Paranormal Pest Control, Ghoul-B-Gone, Hector’s typical day at work is far from typical.

Tag along with our hero for just another day at the office. He’ll head all over town to offices overrun by spirits, wraith-infested restaurants, and other creepy community buildings. Hector is equipped with his good old ghost bustin’ vacuum pack and trusty ol’ plasma blaster. With it, he puts abhorrent apparitions to rest for GOOD!

Lovers of 90’s cartoons, wacky ghost hunting adventures, or cleanliness, will have a literal blast. You’ll be zooming through the vibrantly cartoony, gag ‘till you laugh, procedurally generated world. All whilst you suck up unsuspecting spooky pests. Groove to the beats of award-winning composer Will Morton (of Grand Theft Auto fame). And rescue residents and chase promotions by wracking up hefty invoices to send to your clients — ghoul by fiendish ghoul!

Boasting Integrated Interactivity

Stream the game on Twitch and Mixer and get your audience in on the action. Integrated interactivity allows your viewers to help you devastate demonic intruders or hinder your assault on the afterlife. Play alone or team up with a haunt-hunting buddy for some seamless drop-in/drop-out split-screen couch co-op action. Either way, Dead End Job is sure to keep you coming back for more!
