Cyberpunk’s Night City Tourist Website Revealed

Cyberpunk 2077 promo still

During latest Night City Wire showcase, CD Projekt Red announced a dedicated website for Cyberpunk 2077, called nightcity.love. The entire website reads like a real-life tourist site filled with information about a city bursting with violence and neon.

The history section of the website talks about how Night City came about and its how its Ayn Rand-like founders see it as “a city of the future, one uncorrupted by old ideas and stifling regulations.”

However, in the transportation part of the site, we get a quick look at the fast-travel system, as well as some normal driving. We’ve heard about the cab company before, called Delamain Taxi. The NCART subway network seems to be the main source of fast-travel. The website apparently “boasts many access points that form a net extending over the entire city and will whisk you from one to the other with as little hassle and headache as pulling up the latest hits on BlastDance.” However, I still have no idea what BlastDance is. Also, we’ve seen V astride plenty of motorcycles and driving many different cars, in previous trailers.

The last part of the info page talks about the different districts. Each district sports its own NCPD Threat Level Indicator as well as some notes on gang activity and other hazards. The Pacifica district, for example, seems to be the most dangerous one with a “Catastrophic” threat level.

And finally, a gallery sits at the bottom of the page loaded with screenshots from the game.

What do you think of Cyberpunk 2077’s new website? Would you go there if you could? And what the hell is DanceBlast?
