Cyberpunk 2077 made a lot of people very disappointed when it came out last year. CD Projekt rushed the launch and the game was nowhere ready, with the console versions taking the brunt of the damage. However, that doesn’t mean that the game did badly in the sales department.
CD Projekt a whopping 13.7 million copies were sold last year. This according to CDPR’s quarterly report from January-March. The most popular version of Cyberpunk 2077, perhaps not surprisingly, PC with 56%. After that came PS4 with 28% and Xbox One with 17%. Now, before you say anything, I’m well aware that those numbers add up to 101% but the percentages have been rounded up slightly for convenience’s sake. No need to worry.
Cyberpunk 2077 Refunds
Also worth noting, There seem to be way fewer people having asked for a refund than we first thought. Out of all 13 and a half million copies of Cyberpunk sold, only 30,000 copies have been refunded. Our friend Matt Kim over on IGN asked how the stadia version of the game did and was apparently met with laughs.
