Don’t expect CD Projekt RED’s Cyberpunk 2077 to be a hand-holding affair.
A recent ratings leak has teased that the game will be, at the bare minimum, a hard 18+/”Mature”/R-rated affair.
According to a recent leak from a Brazilian ratings board, Cyberpunk will be “not recommended for under 18”. Though the original source has since been deleted, somebody took a screengrab and posted it to Reddit.

As you can, quite a detailed list. Clearly, the game will be restricted in some countries owing to their sensitivities and own censorship. (Looking at you, Australia)
Naturally, the above news made it’s way to Twitter. A key member of Cyberpunk‘s development team dropped a massive F-bomb.
Paweł Sasko, Cyberpunk‘s Lead Quest Designer, said:
We don’t fuck around”.
Clearly. So, hopefully the harsher classification doesn’t limit your ability to pick the game up when it eventually releases. By which I mean, that you’ll still be able to buy it without having to show ID of some kind. If you still look young enough to need ID, of course.
Cyberpunk 2077 will be released this September for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
