CD Projekt Red’s once ill-fated Cyberpunk 2077 is currently seeing a bit of a renaissance on Steam.
Thanks to “84% of the 22,142” reviewers who approved of the game, 2077 is currently sitting on a “Very Positive” rating on Steam.
Furthermore, a staggering “76% of the 407,912″ user reviews are positive, giving it a “Mostly Positive” overall rating.
It’s an amazing turn-of-events considering the state the game launched in.
And, this newfound love hasn’t passed CDPR by unnoticed. CDPR’s Quest Director for Cyberpunk 2077, Paweł Sasko tweeted;
The recent (massive) sales might have helped stir such positivity onwards. Currently, 2077 is within the top 10 best-selling games on Steam.
The game notoriously launched in a dreadful state. However, after around a year later – and with hundreds of updates added in several patches – it seems like 2077 might finally be worth your time. I, personally, got 2077 back when it launched with my Google Stadia, and, whilst I don’t play on it religiously, I’ve plugged over 100 hours into the title thus far without even completing it. Take from that whatever you want.
