Crucible Has Been Cancelled by Amazon

Amazon has already cancelled Crucible, after releasing (and un-releasing it) within the space of five months.

Releasing back in May, Crucible was returned to closed beta around a month later thanks to lacklustre player counts.

Developer Relentless Studios noted;

“…ultimately we didn’t see a healthy, sustainable future ahead of Crucible”.

As Crucible winds down, the team will focus its attentions on New World, Amazon’s other game. For anyone who paid out for Crucible, Relentless is offering full refunds. The Crucible servers will remain open until 9th November.
