More To It Than Cooking

In addition to preparing meals, you’ll need to fight off a number of nasty customers who appear to want to make trouble. For example, thieves who will keep stealing your ingredients. The game has been designed to be played as a team.

In a prepared statement, Resolution Games said of VR that it:

“is becoming more and more of a medium for unique social experiences that can bring people together like never before. We feel that Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale will be a great illustration of how players can have a ton of fun when they work together in VR — especially given the frantic environment of a busy restaurant kitchen.”

Resolution Games CEO Tommy Palm said of VR

While the game is focused on cooperative play, solo players will be able to enjoy the experience with the help of a simulated partner, making sure there’s always a team to tackle tough orders and restore the calm to this wild kitchen.

Currently there is no release date other than “later this year”.
