Remedy’s mysterious Codename Heron project has been an enigma to us, for some time. However, the Finish developer finally spills the beans on what they’ve been working on, besides Alan Wake‘s return all this time. Codename Heron is Control 2.
Control 2 follows Jesse again and is a direct sequel to the previous game and is being co-developed between Remedy and 505 Games where Remedy is working on the PC version and 505 helms the console versions of the game. The budget is 50 million Euro and the profits will be split equally between the two studios.
Control 2 is coming to PC, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, although the game is still in the early stages of development so it’s going to be a while before we’ll see anything tangible. There is also no confirmed release date as of yet.
