With just hours left on the clock before the official reveal later today it seems the Call of Duty Vanguard Zombies trailer has leaked online. It was of course immediately pulled, but a good number of sources managed to grab the ill-fated video before our COD overloads pulled the plug.
And who would we be if we didn’t help you indulge for yourselves? Take a look at the link at the end of the article to watch the full Zombies trailer right now.
The video itself runs for just over two minutes. As ever, it gives players a sneak-peak at what they can expect from this much loved game mode. It seems too that there are a number of new things to get excited about. For starters, the zombie-lore in the video seems to sway closer to the demonology side of things than in previous games. This is evidenced by the many runes and symbols dotted throughout the clip; Easter-egg hunters take note.
There also appear to be one or two new gameplay mechanics. These include plantable pylons (the function of which is still a mystery) and a number of strange artefacts that seem to help control the hoard.
Of course, this is merely a brief preview of what’s to come, and no doubt there are innumerable surprises in store for eager eyes to discover. Who knows, we might get a little more information later today when the reveal proper drops. But for now, this will do nicely, thanks.
