Now, if you’re not familiar with Chernobyl, then let me give you a quick rundown. Chernobyl is a nuclear power plant that had a catastrophic meltdown in 1986 and is currently encased in a tomb that will last 100 years(and will need to be replaced), due to the radioactive material that escaped from reactor number 4.

But that’s enough history, tell me about the game.

Dare you enter the power plant?

In Chernobylite, you’ll face a hostile military presence and other supernatural beings that have survived living in the exclusion zone., all while keeping an eye on your Geiger counter that checks for radioactive material,

However, your survival is not guaranteed, as each day brings new challenges as your supplies’ diminish and your comrades die around you. In order to survive, you must manage your resources effectively, Careful planning and resource management are the only way, you are going to survive this disaster.

Build up your base, craft your supplies and plan your next move carefully as each playthrough is tailored to the choices you make so choose wisely as every decision could be your last.

Friend or foe? You decide

Chernobylite launces 28th of July on PC (Steam, Epic and GOG), with PS5 and Xbox series X/S versions launching later this year.
