Blizzcon Event Slated for Early 2021

Blizzard’s annual conference; BlizzCon, was cancelled in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. At the time Saralyn Smith posted that Blizzard were looking for ways to ‘channel the BlizzCon spirit’ online. And that looks what they plan to do.

Reported by GamesIndustry.biz, in an earnings call this week. It was noted by Blizzard President J. Allen Brack that a virtual event would come in “the early part” of 2021.

“We’re looking forward to sharing what the teams have been working on for that event.”

What the event will be like, and what will be shown is currently still a mystery. However, we’re sure to know more in the coming few months, and here’s hoping for more Overwatch 2…
