Black Desert Online Raises Funds for Australian Bushfire & Turkey Earthquake Disasters

Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss have both been working hard to help out the Australian and Turkish disasters. Through Black Desert Online, the developers will donate ₩100,000 to the joint aid efforts.

Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss announced a new charity initiative through Black Desert Online. This initiative comes as an effort to help the victims of the Australian Bushfires and Turkey earthquake.

Players can help raise funds via an in-game event. This worldwide event will be available in all regions that the game is currently available until 19th February. By completing in-game tasks, players can raise up to ₩100,000,000 (~$84,000/€76,000/£65,000). Pearl Abyss will provide this fund to survivors of the two disasters.

Pearl Abyss will announce the final recipients at a later date. The article also contains more information about the ways players can participate in this event.  

Robin Jung, CEO of Pearl Abyss said;

“We prepared a meaningful event in which adventurers from our service regions, 150 countries around the world including Australia and Turkey, can contribute donations.

We hope for a quick recovery and hope everyone affected can return to their everyday lives”.
