Developer Experiment 101 has promised a new update for Biomutant to address issues with the game.
These improvements are “based on community feedback” following the game’s launch last Tuesday.
Whilst it isn’t exactly known what the update will feature, 101 did express areas they are working on;
“We are working on the pacing of dialogues, narrator settings, difficulty settings, video settings like depth of field and motion blur, loot and enemy tuning as well as sound and combat”.
So, quite a laundry list of areas to tackle. I’ve recently started a Biomutant Let’s Play over on the ABG YouTube channel. And, from my (currently) short time with the game, I can attest to at least one thing; the frame rate drops are an absolute nightmare! Whilst you can set the FPS limit to anything up to 300fps, when issues arose, we would struggle to get 30fps! (This could be an issue on my end, but there are a few guides online [here, here, and here, for example] to try and maximise FPS and prevent drops).
Whilst the update will be available across the board, Experiment 101 did reaffirm that PC will likely receive it first.
