Biomutant Developer Talks About Combat, Traversal, Bugs And More

The Swedish action RPG Biomutant comes out at the end of this month. Gamingbolt interviewed studio head Stefan Ljungquist about the upcoming rodent role-playing game.

In the interview, Ljungquist talks about the fluidity and diversity within Biomutant’s combat system, the different vehicles available like the skiff for maneuvering around the Archipelago, and the batwing glider seen below. Ljungquist also explains how the player’s choices affect the world and, possible story outcomes.

Yes. Biomutant has 2 major endings in terms of the main storyline around the Tree of Life. Additionally, the Tribe War has its own possible outcomes, depending on which tribe you allied with and how you acted towards other tribes. And many of the other choices you made during your playthrough will be reflected on when the game comes to an end.

Ljungquist was even asked about possible DLC and post-launch content but replied that they are focusing on Biomutant’s launch in May. However, future expansions are not impossible.
