Biomutant, the kung-fu hack-&-slash RPG create-a-thon, has officially broken even.
Publisher THQ Nordic’s parent company, Embracer Group, released its financial reports.
And the report tells that Biomutant has sold over one million copies.
Furthermore, it managed to cover development costs within a week of release.
“The full investment into development and marketing as well as the acquisition cost for Experiment 101 and the IP [Biomutant], was recouped within a week after launch”.
This is despite the fact that the game launched to mediocre reviews.
However, despite its initial launch woes, Biomutant has clearly done something well.
