ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) earlier this week announced that ROG Swift PG32UQX will be available on shelves by the end of May 2021. Swift PG32UQX is a 32-inch, 144 Hz NVIDIA® G-SYNC® ULTIMATE 4K gaming monitor that delivers incredibly lifelike gaming visuals.

It has 1,152 independent mini LED zones that give it a peak brightness of 1400 nits, while quantum-dot technology and true 10-bit colour depth enable over a billion colours for accuracy and smoother gradations. When paired with gaming PCs featuring the new NVIDIA GeForce RTXTM 30 Series GPUs, Swift PG32UQX provides gamers with truly immersive, high framerate 4K gaming.

Key Features of the ASUS ROG Swift PG32UQX

  • 32‑inch 4K HDR gaming monitor with 144 Hz refresh rate and Display Stream Compression technology for supersmooth gaming
  • Mini LED backlighting with full-array local dimming (FALD) across 1,152 independent zones, 1400 nits peak brightness, and DisplayHDR™ 1400 certification
  • NVIDIA® G-SYNC® ULTIMATE display delivers the very best gaming experiences, including lifelike HDR, stunning contrast, cinematic colour, and ultra-low-latency gameplay
  • Quantum-dot technology and true 10-bit colour depth with a wide DCI-P3 colour gamut ensure incredibly realistic colours and smoother gradations

Astounding HDR Visuals

Swift PG32UQX features DisplayHDR™ 1400 certification to provide gamers with outstanding HDR visuals. The monitor utilises 1,152-zone mini LED backlighting with full-array local dimming (FALD) technology. This showcases the brightest whites and darkest black hues for lifelike HDR imagery with incredible contrast and minimal halo effects. A peak brightness of 1400 nits makes small in-game details like street lights and muzzle flashes appear brighter and more realistic than ever before.

Swift PG32UQX delivers the best colours in its class. It utilises quantum-dot technology and true 10-bit colour depth to provide a cinema-grade 98% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Each monitor is factory pre-calibrated to Delta E < 2 colour accuracy for the very best colour reproduction.

Supersmooth 4K Gaming

The Swift PG32UQX can run 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) content at up to 144 Hz. This allows for supersmooth gaming and takes advantage of Display Streaming Compression technology. This in turn means you can run native 4K resolution content. At up to 144 frames per second no less, all without compramising visual fidelty.

Featuring the latest NVIDIA G-SYNC processor, Swift PG32UQX features a G-SYNC ULTIMATE display. This delivers the very best gaming experiences with lifelike HDR visuals, stunning contrast, cinema-grade colours, and ultra-low latency.

Additionally, variable-refresh-rate technology enables support for 4K visuals at refresh rates of up to 120 Hz[2], allowing gamers to experience next-gen gaming on consoles like the Xbox Series X, with no visual tearing and minimal stuttering.

Built in Conveniences

Swift PG32UQX includes gamer-centric features such as LiveDash OLED and OSD Dial to improve the user experience. The built-in LiveDash OLED on the lower bezel of Swift PG32UQX can be programmed to show useful system information such as temperatures, voltages, fan speeds, or system frequency.

LiveDash can also be used to display customised images or animations. Meanwhile, the OSD Dial at the bottom of the monitor lets users conveniently scroll through the on-screen menu. You can quickly adjust brightness and other colour parameters naturally. A USB port and tripod socket on top of the monitor accommodate a lighting kit and webcam, too. This makes the Swift PG32UQX very easy to set up for streaming.
