During the most recent Nintendo Direct we saw Tom Nook from Animal Crossing announce that he needs to build a new place for everyone to come home to. . .Details are pretty sketchy at the moment, we didn’t get a full title other than “Animal Crossing”, and that it will be releasing some time in 2019. That could mean any time in 2019, but we can expect that it’ll be later on in the year – Spring at least – since if the game was only a few months away then Nintendo may have been clearer with the release window.source: Nintendo Direct
