Analogue Pocket, gets May 2021 release date.

If you have a stack of Gameboy, Gameboy Colour and GBA games, but no working handheld, then Analogue has the answer.

Announced last year, Analogue, who has a history of bringing retro games into the modern world, have announced that their latest console the ‘Pocket’ will be available to pre-order from 3rd August, along with a number of details.

The Pocket, which at first glance is reminisced of Nintendo’s own Gameboy Pocket boasts a 4300mAh battery, which in non-tech speak means a 6 to 10-hour battery life, or 10+ hours of sleep time, which allows you to pause your game, have a quick nap and then pick up where you left off.

Now where did I put my copy of Super Mario Land……

A number of extras have also been released, such as a dock which allows you to plug the Pocket into your TV, adaptors for Game Gear, Atari Lynx, and Neo Geo Pocket Colour, a hardened case (for accident-prone players) and several cables to enhance your playing capability.

The Analogue Pocket is priced at $199.99 (About £155 currently) and is available to pre-order from 3rd August 8am PST (4pm UK Time).
