While we don’t claim to be movie critics or cinematographic experts, we do know a thing or two about video games. Or, well, cutscenes at least. So, we’ve compiled a list containing what we think are gaming’s best cinematics for your viewing pleasure. Be it for dramatic intensity, pure badassery, or perfect composition, we tried to find the best – enjoy.
Beware, major spoilers ahead for some titles. You have been warned.
Now, some of these will have some minor overlap with our Best Game Trailers piece. However, we made sure to only use cinematics/segments from the games. Coincidentally, some cinematics make mighty compelling trailers and were used in marketing.
