Sony has announced that a new State of Play will be coming this Thursday, with most of the focus being Bethesda’s upcoming time twisted adventure Deathloop.
As well as a nine-minute look at the timed PS5 exclusive, we’ll also get a look at some indie and third-party titles that are coming soon.
Clocking in at thirty minutes, it’ll be one of the shorter State of Plays we’ve seen in recent months and the PlayStation announcement was sure to mention that:
This showcase will not include updates on the next God of War, Horizon Forbidden West or the next generation of PlayStation VR. Stay tuned throughout the summer though, as we’ll have more updates soon.
With most of the focus being on Deathloop, we’ll be shown an extended gameplay sequence that’ll show the main character Colt use his abilities to get the job done. After that who knows, but there’s plenty of time left for lots of reveals.
Like most recent State of Plays, this one was dropped on us at the last minute, so I wouldn’t get your hopes up for a major surprise.
Deathloop is due to release on September 15th on PS5.
