After a tease during a Q & A from director Tetsuya Nomura, Square Enix is giving more information on the latest Kingdom Hearts title.
Last week, Square Enix unveiled its newest project. Coming this Spring 2020, It will come out on iOS, Android, and Amazon platforms.
But Square Enix played coy as they like to, not even giving the title of the game during the announcement.
Along with the project, was a teaser image and the announcement of a naming contest.
The image uploaded to the Twitter account (Project Xehanort) that matches the character model of a Young Xehanort from the opening cut scene from Kingdom Hearts 3.
This game will follow the path of Young Xehanort and delve into why he would become a seeker of darkness.
Announced with Project Xehanort, Square Enix is also doing a contest. Fans can compete to guess the name of the new game. The next entry’s name in all likelihood, will not be easy to guess.
With titles within series like; Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, and Kingdom Hearts: Unchained χ, there is no telling what this new game could be called.
The contest can be found over on their new Twitter page here. Contestants have until January 28th, 2020 at 6:59 PM PT to submit their guesses. Square Enix will pick 10 winners based on how close they all might come to the actual name of the project.
